These delicious Swedish Meatballs are a homemade version of the iconic Ikea meatballs. Served with our ready-made Perfect Mash, they’re a whole lot easier than assembling flat-pack furniture, that’s for sure! See method

- Iceland Meatballs
- 1 small onion
- 20g Beef Gravy Granules
- 80ml Single Cream
- Iceland Perfect Mash
- Iceland Garden Peas

Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 22-25 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- In the meantime, prepare the gravy by heating a little vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Sprinkle in the Goldenfry Original Beef Gravy and some cracked black pepper, stirring to combine.
- Slowly pour in the boiling water, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
- Stir in the single cream and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the gravy and let them gently simmer in the pan.
- In the meantime, prepare the mashed potatoes and garden peas according to package instructions.
- Serve the Swedish meatballs and gravy alongside the mashed potatoes and garden peas. Enjoy!
